Indications, Benefits & Uses
The disorders that can be treated using this medication are as follows:
Vidangarishta can be used to treat Fistula-in-Ano. An anal fistula is a common condition affecting the anus and is characterized by the formation of a small channel between the skin near the anus and the end of the bowel. The common symptoms of this condition include bleeding and discharge while passing stools along with severe pain. Vidangarishta can help to reduce the symptoms of anal fistula and also prevent the recurrence of the condition.
Vidangarishta can also be used to treat an anal abscess. It is an infected cavity formed at the anal or rectal region, which is filled with pus. It usually occurs following an acute infection in the glands of the anus. Vidangarishta can help in providing relief from the symptoms of anal abscess such as pain, discomfort, oozing of discharge, and difficulty in passing stools. Regular use of this medicine is recommended for the patients who have a tendency to develop an anal abscess.
Vidangarishta is highly effective in the treatment of renal disorders. It helps to relieve the urinary conditions like renal stones and infections. This medicine produces an antibacterial action and thus, ensures destruction of the bacteria in the urinary tract. It also provides relief from the symptoms of renal stone like painful urination, colicky pain in the abdomen, blood in urine, and an inability to pass urine. It also acts as a natural antispasmodic agent and reduces intense contractions of the muscles in the walls of the urinary tract that occur when the body attempts to expel the stone via urine thus providing relief from the severe pain.
It is also used to treat thigh cramps, which usually occur when there is an imbalance of electrolytes and fluids in the body. This imbalance may occur due to the dysfunctions related to the kidneys, which result in an abnormal composition of electrolytes in the blood like potassium and sodium and loss of water from the body. Vidangarishta can help in relieving the cramps caused due to these renal dysfunctions by regulating the functions of the kidneys.
Vidangarishta can be used to obtain relief from abdominal distention and rigidity, which resemble paralytic Ileus. This condition causes reduced motility of the intestine due to which the digestive and excretory functions of the gastrointestinal tract are affected resulting in bloating, obstinate constipation, and indigestion. Vidangarishta can improve the functions of the digestive tract and thus, reduce these symptoms.
