Panchamrut Loha Guggul is prepared by taking Shuddha Guggulu in an iron mortar along with a small quantity of mustard oil. The ingredients are grounded to form a fine powder. Later, the powders of other ingredients are added and mixed well. Tablets of 250 mg each are prepared from this mixture.

Panchamrut Loha Guggul should be used in a dose of 250 to 500 milligrams per day. The recommended dose for children is 125 mg to 250 milligrams. The medicine should be taken in 2 or 3 equally divided doses per day. The maximum recommended dose of Panchamrut Loha Guggul is 3 grams per day. This medicine should be taken after food with warm milk or warm water.
