Navkarshik Guggul

Navkarshik Guggul is an Ayurvedic formulation particularly recommended for the patients suffering from arthritis. It is also called Triphala Guggulu. It is an effective ayurvedic medication and Guggulu preparation that can be used for the management of weight loss, fistula, constipation, liver abscesses, and wounds of soft tissues and corns of feet.

It can be used to reduce the uric acid levels and control the inflammation in the toe joints occurring in gout. It is also effective in the management of other bone and joint diseases. It also removes the toxins accumulated in the body. The herbs present in this medicine act in a synergistic manner and provide relief from swollen, and painful joints. Navkarshik Guggul can also be used for treating belly fat, flatulence, indigestion, and intestinal worms.

Navkarshik Guggul acts as an antibacterial and antimicrobial agent. It helps to prevent infections caused due to a broad range of bacteria. The anti-inflammatory and analgesic actions produced by the herbs in this medicine are beneficial in the management of arthritis.

It also possesses mild laxative properties. It works as an anti-flatulent and carminative agent and reduces the symptoms of digestive disturbances. It also acts as a digestive stimulant and supports the functions of the digestive tract.

Navkarshik Guggul can be taken in a dose of 2 to 8 tablets or 1 to 4 grams, twice daily. The maximum dosage of this medicine should not exceed 10 grams per day.

Navkarshik Guggul is not known to cause serious side effects. Patients may develop a few mild side effects such as loose stools, and abdominal pain. Patients suffering from bleeding piles should avoid using Navkarshik Guggul as it may worsen the symptoms of this disease.

Overdose Side Effects

The use of Navkarshik Guggul in higher doses may result in loose motions. This side effect is more common in the patients having a Pitta Prakriti.
