Physicians advise the use of Liv 52 tablets for the patients taking hepatotoxic drugs such as anti-tubercular medicines, antiretroviral drugs, and statins. These medicines are toxic to the liver and can affect the functions of this organ considerably. The use of Liv 52 can minimize the harmful effect of these medications and protect the liver from the toxicity.
Damage to the hepatic cells due to the conventional cancer treatments like radiation and chemotherapy can also be prevented by using Liv 52. It is also given as a supportive treatment during hemodialysis. It helps in promoting regeneration of the hepatic cells thus ensuring faster recovery of the patients with liver carcinoma. It acts as a tonic for the liver and restores its functions.
