The recommended dose of Amritadi Guggulu for adult men is 15 to 30 milligrams per kg body weight. Women can use it in a dose of 12.5 to 25 milligrams per kg body weight. The maximum recommended dose per day is 10 grams. However, sometimes, it is prescribed in a higher dose of 500 to 2000 milligrams, two or three times a day. The pediatric dose of this medicine is 10 to 20 milligrams per kg body weight for boys and 7.5 to 15 milligrams per kg body weight for girls.
Directions for Use
Patients should take the doses after food to avoid gastric upsets. It can be taken with a glass of warm milk or water.
